A specialist in manufacturing and operational engineering, Gary Vos has launched, guided and restructured operations in the United States, Europe, and Africa. He has managed companies with over $250 million in sales. He has vast experience in designing and implementing systems which increase manufacturing efficiency with significantly reduced working capital requirements. At a large consumer products company, Mr. Vos restructured 17 manufacturing and 6 distribution locations into a single product support group, maintaining the status as low cost producer. He reduced overhead by 40% and improved profits by more than $9 million.

As a turnaround professional, Mr. Vos has served as CEO or COO during the restructuring of manufacturers of consumer and industrial products. Although his preference is to restructure a company without the protection of the Bankruptcy Code, he has successfully managed companies through court supervised restructuring.

Mr. Vos has earned the designation of Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) from the Association of Certified Turnaround Professionals. He attended Guilford College where he majored in chemistry. Mr. Vos is an active member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Turnaround Management Association, where he has served on various boards. He also serves as a director of several companies and plays an active role in a variety of civic programs.

Mr. Vos received the 1998 TMA National Award for Large Company Turnaround of the Year, recognizing his leadership for the Chapter 11 restructuring of a large soft goods manufacturer.
